"Being an Energy By Science athlete is truly an honor. The products from Energy By Science have enhanced my training as well as my competition. Not only have these products stayed true to their name, but also have helped with recovery, performance, and stress. Apart from sports, Energy By Science has helped with my daily life, especially with performance at school. Caff-Aid and the new Energy Capsules have become a huge part in my daily regimen, and have been truly beneficial. Energy By Science has been a huge help in my athletics, academics, and daily life. It has been amazing to see the benefits from these products for me, and I recommend them to everyone! I can't wait to see the progress of this incredible company."

My whole life, I have been an avid outdoors-woman, and constantly involved in sports. After a few years of experimenting with different sports, I finally found what I love to do: running. After my seventh grade track season, my competitive streak began to define me. By my eighth grade season, I found myself taking the sport more seriously, and wanting more competition and work. This search led me to compete in various races during the summer time, which began to satisfy my thirst for more competition. For three summers, I have competed in three national circuit races across the country, where I've begun to see the high level of talent in track and field. Even with these highly competitive races, I want to enter more of these races around the year. My running schedule consists of competition in cross country in the fall, track competition in the spring and summer, however I do train all year. As of this year, I decided to join the high school nordic skiing team to cross- train for running during the winter season. I have downhill skied since I was two-years-old and was a member of the Team Winter Park ski racing team for three years. This year, I switched from ski racing to nordic as to better accommodate my running career. When I have a day off from all these busy sports, I enjoy kayaking, camping, biking, hiking, rock climbing and swimming with my family and two dogs. Now, I train and compete in track and field in the spring and summer, cross country in the fall, and nordic in the winter. Running is a huge part of my life, and has come to define me. I feel very blessed to have so many incredible gifts and to have accomplished what I have. I continue to have many ambitions and goals in mind and plan on continuing to see where God will take me. Thank you to all my supporters for making my running possible!

Don't get me wrong ... I believe that sleep is one of the few enjoyable luxuries that don't cost money. It's good for you, except when you're driving along at 65 MPH! Ever since I had a bad Boardercross crash in 2000 that knocked me out cold, I have had brain function problems. Whenever I'm tired or fried, my brain just shuts off.

But I found one supplement that actually makes me sharper and has eliminated the need for afternoon naps: Energy By Science. This product is designed for folks who want to decrease their daily caffeine intake, allowing them to be just as awake and sharp without the side effects of jittery nerves and sleeplessness. For me, one of the few who don't care for caffeine (I have a cup of tea in the morning and that's it ... coffee is like speed to me), Energy By Science has made a big difference. I am able to read late at night with a sharp mind, but I can close the book and fall right asleep as well.

Cindy Kleh has lived at the top of the Colorado Rockies for 25 years. She first began snowboarding in 1985 and has been teaching the sport professionally since 1998. She was the National Giant Slalom and Slalom Champion for women 40-49 for four years in a row: 2005-2008 and currently is the National Overall Snowboarding Champion (GS, Slalom, Boardercross, Superpipe and Slopestyle combined) for 2008 and 2009.

Kleh writes for Mountain Gazette and Grand County Living magazines. Her first book published, Snowboarding Skills (2002), is a full-color instructional snowboarding book available on amazon.com.

Ever since I was about 12 years old I was extremely fascinated with martial arts. When I was about 14, I watched ultimate fighting championship fight and a man named Royce Gracie, who was a smaller guy than most, always won using a style called brazillian jiu jitsu. This got my attention and I wanted to learn jiu jitsu. I found a gym that taught brazillian jiu jitsu and joined the gym.

I continued to train and when I was about 18 I started to compete at different tournaments throughout the midwest and had lots of success. Doing well in jiu jitsu tournaments was fun but I wanted to test myself in a different or more intense way.

In 2005 I took a MMA fight and I won. Right then I knew it was all I wanted to do so I began to train in various forms of martial arts including judo, wrestling, muay thai kickboxing and boxing.

I continued to compete in amateur MMA throughout America. I had again done well and it was time to go professional and do this for a living. I am currently fighting as a professional fighter and so far it is going great!

I must say I am completely blessed with great friends family and sponsors like Energy by Science® who support me as I pursue my dream as a mixed martial artist. Thanks to everyone who believes in me. I couldn't do it without your support.

  • Pro MMA Record 5-0
  • Amateur MMA Record 7-2

Training takes a lot of time and energy; at the end of the day, I’m physically and mentally exhausted. It’s easy for my body to get worn down, and for my adrenal glands to get depleted.

When I wake up in the morning, I need to hit the ground running. Energy By Science: Energy Capsules help me maintain a constant level of energy throughout the day. Not only that, it helps to aid in recovery, and keep me going during long and stressful workouts.

Whether I’m at work, doing a quick 4000 meters in the pool, or riding a nice set of rolling hills, I need to be on top of my game - emotionally, mentally and physically. Energy By Science helps me keep my focus, so I can work harder, play stronger, ride faster, and run longer.

Dustin Carpenter has been at home in the ‘burbs of Denver ever since 1990. A full head taller than most of his classmates, his mother got him involved in a swim team at the age of eleven to alleviate some of the social awkwardness that came with his height. He swam throughout high school, going to state championships his senior year in the 200 and 500 freestyle.

After a long hiatus from the water (having something to do with pizza delivery, college and international travel), Dustin returned to the pool with a few extra pounds and a mild case of levoscoliosis. Avoiding a spinal fusion, his kineseologist helped him straighten up, and Dustin started running to help take off some of the unwanted college weight. It was at this time that a friend suggested a foreign concept: try a triathlon!

After purchasing a Trek road bicycle, Dustin signed up for the 2008 Tri-Glenwood Triathlon. With his goal in sight, he set up his training schedule and went headlong into his first triathlon season. He came out of the water in 13th place, but fell to the back of the pack in the run due to the fact that his pace was marginally faster than continental shift. In high spirits, he completed his first triathlon in the middle of his age group. The triathlon bug had bitten him.

Over the course of the 2009 season, he completed an Olympic distance triathlon, several sprint tri’s, a 2.4 mile open-water swim, and the Boulder 5430 Long Course Tri - an exhausting 70.3 mile event. In his last Triathlon of the season, he took a second-place age group finish at the Tenderfoot Triathlon.

Currently, Dustin makes a living cutting together film trailers for a national cable movies channel. When he’s not at work, or training, he can be found studying for certifications in Masters Swim Coaching, ACSM Personal Training, and POSE Running. Currently, he is training for the Denver Colfax Marathon, the Boulder Half-IronMan, and the Arizona IronMan. Someday, he hopes to accomplish the “Everest of swimming”: the English Channel.

  • 2nd place age group finish (20-29): Tenderfoot Triathlon, Salida, CO
  • Finisher: Boulder 5430 Long Distance Triathlon

Before a competition or after a hard period of training sleep is critical.

Training is great but without recovery it gets you know where. I’ve been interested is sleep products because I know how important recovery is. I have heard negative comments like once you start you can’t sleep with out it, or you wake up tired and groggy.

Not with Energy by Science Sleep.

When I know the best thing I can do for training is get a good nights sleeps, two capsules get the job done.

I recently just started using the Energy Capsules. Depending upon the activity, I take anywhere from 2 to 4 capsules depending upon the activity and event.

I have found that Energy By Science Energy gives me the extra push when I need to really dig deep and push through. They give you the right amount of punch without feeling buzzed.

A healthy soultion for optimal results.

I started riding when I was in preschool using the neighbor's bikes.  The first time I tried, I just went over to their house and grabbed the smallest one, hoped on and off I went.

A few months later I asked Mom to get me one.  She said I first needed to learn how to ride a bike before I got one.  I said "I do know how to ride, watch."  I went over to the neighbor's backyard where they stored the bikes and grabbed the small one, hoped on and I was riding. Mom said "well I guess you do know how to ride."  Shortly after that I got my 1st BMX bike.

At 39 I’m still riding as much as I can. Biking has been a major part of my life.

I started racing BMX bikes when I was very young. Through grade school and middle school, I went to the dirt tracks down the road everyday.

When I was in high school I got my first mountain bike, a 1989 Giant.  I liked all the gears and it went faster than a BMX bike.  The big wheels covered ground and you could ride it off road and jump it too. After a few rides I knew it would fit perfect in my life.

At the age of 19 I moved out of my parents house and into a house of young men who were mountain bike racers in Vail, Colorado. They asked if I road and I said "O-Yeah."

With the Experience of BMX racing, I was eager to give mountain bike racing a chance.

They took me to my first beginner's race and I was so impressed with all the athletes especially the Experts and Pros. I wanted to be like them, but had a ways to go.

After 4 years of riding, as often as I could, I finally made to the Expert class.
From 19 to 36 I didn’t train. I just road my bike a lot and raced. At 37 I decided to take my racing more seriously and started training.

Now at 39 I’m a trained cyclist. I found I like training because it gives each ride a purpose, it pays off on race day and my personal goals get higher.
